Empowering Partnerships: How Our Outsourcing Solutions Eliminate Fears and Drive Success

In the realm of financial compliance, the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) stand as pillars of regulatory frameworks designed to promote transparency and combat tax evasion on a global scale. However, navigating the complexities of CRS & FATCA classifications can be daunting for financial institutions.

At Reporting Services, we understand the hesitations and concerns that clients may have when considering outsourcing CRS & FATCA classifications. Entrusting such crucial tasks to a third-party entity requires a leap of faith, with questions of knowledge, expertise, confidentiality, compliance, and accountability at the forefront of decision-makers’ minds.

In this blog post, we aim to address these concerns head-on and provide reassurance to clients who may be on the fence about outsourcing their CRS & FATCA classification needs to us. We’ll take a walk through our company’s commitment in each of these key areas, highlighting the value and peace of mind that comes with our commitment to you.

Our mission is not only to streamline and simplify compliance processes but also to serve as a trusted ally and advisor in navigating the ever-evolving landscape of regulatory requirements.

We feel it’s important to highlight that we are by your side throughout the whole process and definitely do not point fingers when it comes to a TCSP’s current procedure or process. Confidentiality

Outsourcing can be a big step, one that we don’t take lightly and we are here to listen to any concerns you may have.

We readily work with Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for our outsourced classification services to protect confidential information, give you control over information sharing, and to foster trust in building strong working relationships with our clients. We take a serious approach to safeguarding sensitive data and you can read our Privacy Policy on our site for more information.

If preferred, you can submit your TCSP’s entities to us using internal reference numbers. We will work with the data and produce a report attaching your reference number making the process effortless and anonymous. The main information we request to receive from you includes the past three reporting years financial data for each entity, and we may need to clarify some points with you about the entity to ensure we classify accurately. You are given the rationale for the classification in the report so you are shielded from any recourse.

Ownership

Reporting Services takes ownership of classification reports and ensures the accuracy and completeness of evidence required for audits so your business has peace of mind. We will produce classification reports for each individual client entity giving the rationale for the classification under both CRS & FATCA with figures based on the data provided by you.  This means that the reports will relate back to your accounting information and can therefore be used to justify the classifications under audit.

No Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used to produce classifications. Each classification is reviewed individually using a proven process. We’ve classified thousands of entities – you’re in good hands!

Guidance

Our clients take advantage of support and guidance in leading up to and preparing for the reporting period. So you are best prepared, we will provide insights into best practices and common pitfalls to help TCSPs navigate the preparation process effectively.

Protection

Our meticulous approach to classifications protects your company from financial risks and stress to staff. Take advantage of our specialised system which has been developed over 8 years.

We take away the burdens of deadlines and decision-making, and leave you to what you do best: driving compliance excellence and achieving your business goals.
